totally agree. I loved when city played him. all he'd so was run inside then pass back. he rarely if ever hurt us.
Good to see some young lads on long term contracts, Steward, TAA and Woodburn have all signed. Lots of praise for our youngsters from Klopp but we'll really tell if they're worth the hype over the next few years. Will they actually make it to first team players?
Agents are the one decorating players "New Messi" "New Gerrard" because of their fees, even when the players are unkikely to make it to the top.
Always good to have them make it into first team, but if not, important that we move them on for a few million. Academy is about making money as well as making first team players.
Yes, irrespective of what they have done so far the club would be quite remiss to not secure the assets and push them on as first team or out as sales. woodburn is very young yet. His is an academy first pro deal, alexander arnold is going to be on a decent wages though and should secure him as we look to get him into the first team. Stewart can be sold to a championship team for a 3mil deal or something next year.

LFC are being linked with Vidal of Barca. They have dropped their asking price of £45m and asked for offers over £13m. Apparently he wants out as he is not getting enough game time and Barca want rid. Is he any good?
Someone in press summed it up by saying Ibra scored about 100 goals in 100 games in France... and struggled in England. Balo done the same just other way round so shows up how good French league really is.
Purely football sense he would be perfect in Jan to cover Mane's absence. For £13m he is definitely worth it but I'm not sure Barca would take that hit considering they spent upwards of £30m on him. I don't really know about his temperament but he has good control, dribbling and is very quick. He'd definitely bring some depth into the squad.
How's that, Vidal is a RB and Mane is a winger. Frankly RB is not an area we should be spending money on at the moment. DM, LB and CB are the area's that should be looked at Jan and Summer time.

Yup. you can find a payet but also a lot of **** that relegated Newcastle for example. It's incredibly weak.
Rest assured Klopp won't buy in Jan for the sake of it... With that attitude the likelihood of buying a duff is reduced. . hopefully!
