I think potential new posters would be more discouraged by the dearth of racing threads, rather than a few non-racing threads scattered about the place. There are very few posters who take the time and effort to create a thread, probably only 7 or 8 who do so on a regular basis.

Does that mean that I can start a thread about how brilliant 'Honey G' is?!? 'I say Honey, you say....' and all that.

Back onto racing and one notes that Simonsig is set to have only his 2nd run over the big ‘uns since the 2013 Arkle at Cheltenham on Sunday in the ‘Shloer Chase’.

The quality of the discourse on this little corner of the 606 is what makes it special-sure there are differences but as reasonably tolerant people we seem to get along without recourse to slander and the lowest forms of wit that are available elsewhere , so I think it's just fine that people put up threads that interest them and by implication others will be .....

here and it would be a shame if restrictions were imposed for arbitrary reasons -it seems to work so why fix it ??
Do we need a cycling thread since the one in the section is a dodo ......
