I read threads that I need to read. A mid doesn't need to read every thread, we need to read threads which are brought to our attention. We do it for free. If I was paid for it I'd gladly spend all my time reading through. I have no interest in most ot threads but if someone brings something to my attention from an it thread, we'll make sure We find the root of the issue.
At least I'm aware I can't give the board what it needs. You're even stating you can't give it the time it needs. It's not personal, but while none of you can give what's needed it's falling to ****. You can't have it both ways Marcus, it can't be neglected and expect the place to tick over smoothly. It's not some deep profound observation. It's pretty obvious and logical.
Thing is the personal abuse I've received from posters via pm has made me much less inclined to want to spend time on here. But no one will do it. I get on as much as I can. It's a voluntary position we take up. We all know we need 4 mods. We have 3 now and one wants someone to step forward.
We have tried to get another mod on board. We've ran threads. Nobody wants the position. I'm guessing threads like this may be one of the reasons.
Tell me what you expect? We don't have as much time as others, but others won't do the job. So we all say bye bye and you're left with zero moderators on here. Never mind having it both ways, you can't have it any way in that situation. Surely a little is better than none at all?
Threads like this? Try reading it. There's posters from about 6 different boards and many of our own supporting it, they're aware of the problem and think it's wrong that it's been allowed to creep in. They want it sorting too. Nah, I suspect it's more the racist and bigoted comments that flood your watch that puts people off. Not this thread that wants to get **** sorted instead of sweeping everything under the carpet and covering everything up until it next erupts.
And of course king of the biggot crew thinks you're doing a good job. He and his cronies can get away with blue murder on here.

Doesn't matter if your were on for this incident. All of you turn a blind eye to this **** constantly. The amount of time people bite their lip while it's going on. Could that be because they're unlikely to get the support of the people with the power to make a difference?
To answer your question, I wouldn't have let it get this way in the first place. I don't know what you(mods) should do now. Probably sort your(mods) **** out and make the place worth handing over to someone. It's your(mods) mess, your(mods) problem. My guess is you'll(mods) just let it deteriorate further by taking less action, giving it less time and attention.

I feel you don't see the many complaints as valid. You've not responded to the many complaints or really acknowledging people are having genuine problems with the place.
Fentonpell felt the need to disclose her personal situation on this very thread to help state her concerns, two mods have been on this thread since to engage and neither one of you have acknowlaged her concerns. Not even spoke to her. That was your time to step up and acknowledge her concerns and reassure her of efforts to stop it from happening in future. I mean where's the common decency? It's like you(mods) don't give a ****.
I don't want any of you to step down, I want you to a get a grip.

Easy to shout prove it when the search function is broken. You said it about me who is diagnosed with a permanent disability. You called me worse than **** for claiming. Wasn't your business to comment on and exactly the sort of thing I've been going on about. It was one occasion where I reacted in kind and I was disgusted with myself. I've been careful not to repeat that sort of behavior. Daft none spacific lifestyle names and a few swares should be enough for a clash without having to resort to low blows.

How comes when you claim something, I had to find it (the quote about Fergie calling Zlatan a big time Charlie), then when somebody else claims something you tell them they have to find it?
