Snoddy .. one player who actually showed that class needed in this league

Marshall .. crucial saves at crucial times

Livermore.. put in a great shift plenty of effort

Dawson could quite easily be on that list and Mbokani gave them something to think about

Sadly we desperately need full backs .. for all Clucas's effort he aint no full back .. Elmo improved as the game went on but he wasn't great

Marshall - crucial saves. Needs to work on distribution.

Clucas - dependable everywhere. Great assist.

Maguire - I like him in midfield, strong, bit of bite and wants to go forward.

Snodgrass - the spark City needed
Marshall - vital saves
Maguire - a difficult choice between several players but a very useful contribution as defensive midfielder.

1. Marshall - some fabulous saves to keep Southampton at bay in the last quarter.

2. Snodgrass - pure quality.

3. Dawson - rebounded from the penalty to give a towering performance, capped by a fine goal.

A quick message to any posters who speculated today about the tens of chances Southampton would have; or who wished ill on City's manager in order to justify their pathetic contrarian views on a man doing a great job with limited resources; or who made up stuff about our new goalkeeper in order to try and criticise him in ever more colourfully stupid ways.

**** you, you ****ing ****wads.

Snodgrass - He's been our Diame figure this season, even better in fact because he looks like he gives a damn.

Dawson

Marshall

Honourable mentions to Livermore and Mbokani. Clucas was decent too, he did better against Tadic than he did against Amrabat last week, and he set up the goal nicely too, I think in the same position Robertson might have smashed it across goal without thinking.
