Profile
QPR have sacked Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink following the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest. Tim Sherwood has emerged as the early favourite in the Next QPR Manager Market, with the likes of Nigel Pearson, Karl Robinson, Steve Evans, Sam Allardyce and Karl Robinson also in the mix for the post - click on the odds below to place your bets.

JFH signed a rolling contract with the Championship club in December (2015). The Dutchman left his position at Burton Albion in order to replace the sacked Chris Ramsey in the Hoops dugout. JFH enjoyed a stunning year in charge of the Brewers, and now he'll be bidding to sprinkle some of the stardust at QPR.

QPR have dipped in and out of the Premier League, winning promotion on two occasions, suffering relegation after two seasons in 2013, only to then bounce back instantly, but then drop down once more. Under Hasslbaink the R's will now be looking to carve out promotion for the third time since 2011.

A mixed set of recent results has seen Queens Park Rangers collect wins versus Bristol City and Fulham while suffering adverse results at Brentford, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland and Huddersfield Town. Draws against Nottingham Forest, Reading, Burton Albion and Birmingham City has seen them show mid-table form at best.

* Caretaker/Interim Manager

Holloway is now back in the mix with Paddy Power @ 14/1, likely they were just re-calculating odds on him in a fast changing landscape, but worryingly, Sherwood remains odds on at the top of the pile.

I have been thinking about who we should get...
How about Ramsey (Benny) until Christmas and see how it goes?
Reasons...
What's the point of brining in a Tim Sherwood (or whoever) now. We cannot turn water into wine. We will still have players like Polter and Henry. Why not wait? For me this season is finished (re play offs) and bringing in Tim will be no better than Jimmy (unless he understands football). Ramsey is cheap and when he last took over had big ego's to deal with. That hang over went onto the next season. He knows the club and players so why not. Why rush into a quick change only to change again next year?
Let's take our time.

How is that an "i'm a bigger supporter' comment? Talking rubbish Kiwi, read the post.
We have to sit and watch the crap while others sit in the comfort of their home telling us we are wrong
thats how i read it through bleary eyes this morning
placing me even lower than the armchair supporters as we dont even get championship games shown here

And there we have it. Nobody knows anything and, more importantly unlike the owners of Watford and Southampton, we do not have a clue where to find a new manager who can develop us and succeed in trying circumstances. That includes Robinson who has as much success as Hasselbaink did , has had the chance to continue to develop MK Dons but failed miserably last year. Look at the league 1 table before you tell me how good he would be and how he knows the players to deliver in the Championship and League 1.

The only names in the betting list are:

People we've all heard of who have all cocked up at some point.
People with a prior connection to the club
Both

The Holloway/Bircham combo is fraught with danger. Didn't they fail spectacularly at Millwall?

No thanks to Karl Robinson he has a habbit of morphing into other people.
