I see Oscar started and finished the game yesterday for them and just wanted to know if anyone knew how well he played. !?
Why don't you post this on the huddersfield board.. where people who actually watched the game can give you some insight...
nobody uses the huddersfield board they have only had 25 threads and 83 posts since it started. probably because they all got bored and started watching lawn bowls as its more exciting than watching huddersfield
The Hudds fans are mainly on JA606, they will be pleased to hear from you, especially as they extended their unbeaten run yesterday
On Hudds OS, they have a short interview with Gobern saying they would keep their heads up after their draw with Bury. Was never asked for his opinion at Saints was he?
on facebook i saw a huddersfield fan write something along the lines of ' Gobern can just sit in the changing room' by that quote not sure he played too well..
Found this - http://downatthemac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=59550 Fairly mixed, but generally positive. Probably much better for his career, I don't think we miss him at all and now he's a first 11 starter.
there have been mixed reviews from them about him. some said he broke up play well other said he watched the game go by him. but at least he is getting some game time. 5 or so years time we could by him back
I have a feeling Adkins wasn't actually that sad to see him go, he was obviously looking for more class in the centre of the park and Gobern was always gonna be at the back of the queue. My (very cynical) theory is that Saints offered him a very poor contract hoping that he would go somewhere else, but they'd still get money from a tribunal.
Don't think Nigel is that sneeky. He said he was furious with Gobern leaving after being offered a good contract. Even said he'd let a fine professional like Wotton leave to move Gobern closer to the team. Can't see NA making that up.
They did seem to moan about him saying the players did not know what to do as they kept getting in each others way.
