http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/tra...l-Jagielka-and-Gary-Cahill-article782142.html Don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting sick and tired of this guess work from the papers! Alex was already reported to be joining Arse-nal at least 4/5 times so far! It's just bloody annoying! If a transfer goes through, fine, report it...but all this speculation is just frustrating for the fans and must be unsettling for a young lad who is trying to make an important decision over his future!
12 Million is good business and would explain the rumours that we're about to splash the cash. We are strong in midfield, but yesterdays lack of a striker on the bench suggests we could do with a front player as well as another defender. Sharp's suspected broken leg shows how near to disaster you can be. If that was Lambert
He has signed 4/5 times over the last 8 months!! The Mirror and Wenger's reputation is declining dramatically!
Won't the people that only read the sports pages in newspapers but don't actually follow it be a bit confused by this? Seeing as they'll now have read 6 or 7 times that he's gone...
these threads are getting annoying tbh.. just faze it out.. if he goes, he goees!! it's winwin for us at the end of the day! we didn't miss him yesterday did we?
I agree . As someone said , it is a Long season & just because we might have done well without him Yesterday does NOT mean we won't need him ( Or a replacement ) further into the sason .
The mirror has no shame and the majority of football coverage/journalism in this country is horrific. There is simply no pride in this article and I hope the person who writes this nonsense feels as empty as the reader. This has been written by someone who has probabley never left their house, let alone spoken to Arsene Wenger or an actual footballer. The worst part of the article is on the three defenders. He has simply hand picked the best three central defenders for mid level prem teams and assumed Arsenal want to buy them in the vein hope one of the deals takes place so they can claim to have the inside track. To The Daily Mirror. I'm not angry, just disappointed.
the rise of the internet has resulted in very lazy journalism. Research seems to be from a keyboard in a stuffy office, by a 16 year old YTS (do they still have YTS?) searching the rumour sites for rubbish to recycle. There is no face to face contact with people who might actually know, especially as the "Don" does not speak to the mirror!
Looked on net at the Express to read about our game. Their headline read that Oxo was ready to test market. God, what now I thought. Article said he wanted to play this Saturday on a big TV game. So a footballer wanted to play in a game of football. Stop the presses.
