Here's a test to show how unreliable IP addresses are:

1. Go to google and type in 'IP address'. It will give you your IP address
2. Go to https://www.iplocation.net/ and type in your IP address
3. Check the list of locations it gives.

My IP address gives locations for Dorchester, Southampton, Bristol, Northern Ireland, Plymouth.

I live 175 miles away from the nearest destination on that list. But according to my IP address, I could be in any one of them.

If you're in Dorchester, fancy a pint?

Problem is, it's ruining the board for the 99% of us that don't give a flying **** about some infantile squabble between Hiag and Piskie.

It's been going on for years and was boring enough when it was just the two of them gong at each other. Now, it seems to have infected several other posters, and TBH it reminds me of being back at primary school!..
... you'll be pleased to know that close to 1am this morning the 'needy one' created another thread dedicated to Piskie ... I kid you not ...

Ginger makes a great point regarding Supermod intervention in all fairness...

To be fair mate. Even if I wasn't involved you'd still have around half a dozen people ripping HIAG.

He brings it on himself. If you take a step back and look at it impartially, you will see that on almost every thread he will bring his **** wit wumming to it and invite the response he gets.

I agree with you that's it's tiresome. I'd rather it was just kept to one thread, but as I've said, just observe where these threads get derailed and you will see that the one common denominator is HIAG.

Anyway...lets get this thread back on track.

Dropped the better half off to work and went for a walk with the dogs on Dun Laoghaire east pier...Lovely brisk Autumn morning.

Just back from an early morning cycle. With the clocks going back I can get out from 6:30am, for a couple of weeks anyway.

Just put some new brakes on the bike, they are extreme ! Nearly went over the bars on the first stop !!

Do you live in Dublin ? I've never been. I go over to Lahinch when I can for the surf, and to see a mate called John McCarthy who is a big wave surfer (he was on a Bank of Ireland advert on the tele) and I love spending time around Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. But I always fly into Shannon so I miss the east coast.

I used to go over to Dublin for the five nations Ireland -England games. Not that i can remember too much about them! :)

I was hoping to go last weekend. A mate of mine has just completed a cycle home to Dublin for a charity called Headstrong. He was teaching in South Korea and with his partner, they cycled 15,000 km home to Dublin ! There was a big homecoming last weekend, but I had commitments here so couldn't go. I'll have to do it soon, cheap flights from Bristol

Yea, the brother-in-law goes there often as he does a lot of kite surfing. Loves the the big winds and the big waves.

I'm from and still work in Dublin, but I moved to Wicklow a few year back and have the hills as literally my back yard, just fancied a coastal walk this morning as I was nearby after dropping off the missus.

Was up on Bray head the other week and got chatting to these mad buggers, something I may try my hand at next.

Used to stay in Dublin for two nights on route to fish the river Shannon in county Westmeath at Lanesborough.

Probably the best pint of Guinness could be had at the theatre bar on the right looking out of the train station. Lush!:emoticon-0167-beer:

They do paragliding off of the cliff near where I live down in West Cornwall. It looks like fun, but I think there's the potential for some serious injuries with that sport. I like my fair share of 'extreme' stuff with the surfing and mountain biking, but since I became a Dad (and since I became self employed) I've got a bit more 'self preservation' about me these days !

I might have to go and do a long weekend with the missus and the little one. <ok>

I gave up Rugby at 34-35 for pretty much the same reasons. Family and work commitments. I couldn't afford to be off work for any length of time with a bad one, which is always a risk in that game!

Bollocks to that, it's more fun ripping the piss out of you :)

I'd just prefer you keep it off of threads like this one that was actually a bit of fun before you showed up.
Should we rename this the Piskie forum then, seeing as you want it all ways?

IP addresses mean **** all. Different devices, used from different areas, even turning your router off for a while and then back on can generate a new IP address.

HIAG is trying to cover up the fact that his other accounts have been rumbled.
So if they are different people, how would you prove it? I mean, there must be a way to end this bollocks?

Where is the apology to Saints and me from Bambi, Pixie, Tobes and Skiddy?

They have been undone, and we deserve a full an unreserved apology. If one isn't forthcoming from all of them, then I think they should all, at the very least, be banned from this board for a period of time. What they have done - and are continuing to do - is unacceptable. If there are no consequences to their actions, what will stop them making such stupid accusations in the future and making other posters' lives a misery? An example needs to be made.
