Not a pen. Davis was irate when it went in and rightly so. Cost him a clean sheet. That dirty cheat converted the pen too which pissed me off
Thought it was a blatant handball from my view and laughed for a couple of seconds that the ref didn't spot it, so will be very interesting to re-see it.
Agreed, but you guys know what it's like when you've been through a ****e time; we are just living in hhe euphoria of thd first opening day home win for 20 odd years and 12 years for any opening day win.
I did see it on the telly. I saw the replay and it was clearly a handball. And Gradel didn't exactly stick his leg out. It would have been a very soft penalty, but it was still not intentional on Gradel's part. Looked accidental and more of a clash than a mis-tackle. As for Gradel being gobby, it's clear to me that frustration levels in the Leeds dressing room are high and it's showing more and more every day. Club with the highest turnover in the league and the money is going into a black hole. Did I say black hole? I meant Colonel Sanders big fat stingy pocket.
This is so confusing because from the Chapel I thought it hit his hand?!!! Maybe the ref just gave Gradel a chance to score to stop his f*cking whining.
he didn't exactly try and move his arm out of the way. Good you saw the bright side fatletiss, I can't see the brightside. I can't really accept that being 23rd instead 24th because of that penalty is a bright side.
That ball never touched his arm.. it hit his chest..., and had the ball bobble off his chest, he hardly had time to move his arm out the way!! patethic penetly..., but i'm not too concerned as i thought the challange cork made on gradel was bit dubious... but im not bitter! we won!! as we we're better! thats all that matters at thte end of the day!
Gradel was a big baby, thumping the turf every time she fell over and didnt get a decision. he is in my fantasy team, i might have to transfer him. I was fuming when they got that penalty 3 mins into injury time to spoil our clean sheet but in hindsight better that than say lallana or any other saints player getting badly injured at the end of the game.
From my view it was a penalty, Gradel moved left to run past Jack Cork, Cork leaves foot to the left. Gradel connects with the Cork's foot and goes to the ground, not surprisingly, my 4 yr old neice is taller than him and he runs head first, meaning gravity is against him. Mabye he did go intentionally to trip on Cork's foot, maybe he didn't only Max knows that, and tbh Jack Cork should of been wiser and not allowed Max to do that if he did on purpose, anyway from my view penalty, he didn't get it but eventually justice was served. Btw the ref was atrocious, not the worst i've seen but certainly by a long shot not the best, who ever told him football wasn't a contact sport was bullshiting him. Christ imagine if one of the Leeds players split a Saints player in half, he'd probably want to hang the player.
Gradel deliberately hooked his leg into Cork's. Not a penalty but those have been given. Ref was probably fed up with Leed's antics. The penalty that was given was shown to be wrong on SSN. However, bet we get a dodgy pen before the end of the season.
Makes me laugh how before the game every leeds fan was saying we won't be able to live with their attack and now because you lose you are now a very poor team, make up ya minds,ya either world beaters or you're not!
Clearly a handball? tell me you're not being serious? i was sat in chapel end and i called a pen when i saw it as i deffo thought he handled it but when i got home and watched it back on sky plus it's obvious to anyone that the ball hit him just under his chest, maybe you should visit the optician or maybe get a better tele?
