Not checked this thread in ages, some real impressive bits of play from Nabs there. Not surprising though, no doubting his ability, though where was that scoring prowess with us?! Neither Poch or Tim got that out of him. Really hope he does get his head down and let his football do the talking, without a doubt one of the best young midfielders in the game right now and can definitely go on to be a top player if he goes about things the right way, whether that be with us or permanently with Schalke.

What an earth has happened to Oduwa though? I know he pretty much wants out of Spurs after refusing new deals, citing he wants first team football but he's barely featured for Posh, hardly doing his credentials any good if he wants to prove to the club he's good enough for the big time.

Perhaps young Oduwa can tell us how McEvoy is doing (club, wages etc) ...

In that respect, the Academy may be functioning correctly.
If these kids are making demands that their current development / ability cannot back,
then at least you know who they are well ahead of time.

Yeah it's telling that the only ones speaking out or acting in such a way are those that are seemingly well off the pace compared to their team mates, or former team mates in the latter's case. McEvoy was released at the end of last season wasn't he? Can't say I've heard if he's been snapped up since.

McEvoy still doesn't have a club. Him and his missus had their first kid in September, too.
Irish U21 international, just turned 22 and he can't find a club? Something's gone wrong there, hasn't it?
Might be an idea for him to try his hand in Ireland. Getting regular football at one of the bigger clubs might work for him.

Probably thought the whole "I look like Bale" thing would just carry him through to a good a career.
