So the season is fast approaching and this seasons community shield has alot more spice than normal due to it being a manchester derby. Players are already starting the mindgames but what do we think to score is going to be?? If the last few derbys are anything to go by there will definately be some good entertainment Im going 3-2 united nani to grab the winner
My prediction is that there will be loads of pissed up scum ( citeh fans ) shouting "**** off Munich's " and " **** off back to London " etc etc just like it was outside Wembley before the F A cup semi. Mind you I suppose their excitement is understandable, when you go somewhere three times in the space of a few months, having not been there for years !!!! I came back to the UK last night for the Paul Scholes Testimonial but will be giving Sundays game a miss.
I can see Nani scoring but to me the Community Shield is known for many debutants scoring so I reckon Aguero will grab the equaliser off the bench. 1-1. United to win on pens.
The season is starting and so is my predictions. Now as usual I will go with my gut feeling and as usual my predictions are not biased. I believe it will be a very tight game like these games always are. I believe that Man City may nick it 2.1. I believe this because they are a very strong team and I believe we will mix our team up for freshness which means some key players may not play. Also we don't really have any defensive cover in the midfield as Carrick is injured and I can see us struggling in that area and Man City exploiting it. So 2.1 is my prediction. City to win
1-0 City. Very dull (when are city not?). Leading to inevitable swarm of "pundits" proclaiming the start of the city era (anyone remember the fuss made when the were top for a day, the fact we had about 3 games in hand was irrelevant) On a more positive note i also predict we will shut them up by winning title 20.
Not to arsed if we win another Charity Shield or not but I'm sure Fergie will want revenge for the semi final defeat earlier this year and to lay down a marker for our bragging rights. There is no doubt that if citeh keep throwing millions of pounds away on transfers and wages then they eventually will mold a team full of great players but becoming a "massive club" is light years away and they need to start filling their own ground now and then, without giving away 10,000 tickets to school kids. As for the game it could go either way but being a die hard Red, I would have to say that the Owen winner in the last minute will be as sweet as his last one against citeh !!!!
