Saints linked with youngster....may be nothing in it, but I'd have to question the sanity of a youngster turning us down for West Ham or Crystal Palace. Their advantage is being in London, but those bright lights have been the death knell of many a promising career.

Did a little research on this lad as I thought it was an unusual name for a young lad playing in Scotland and he is son of former Hamilton and hearts player Jose Quintogo who played in Scotland in the mid 90s.
So a similar story to how our Jays family ended up in Burnley.
His dad is still playing at 41, although at a very amateur level. He was born in Angola and fled to Portugal as a child and came through the Benfica academy in the early 90s
 
to be fair to Sam, the first 5 games were going to hard because of alot of new or on loan players. Its good that he kept his place and his head up when they were playing so badly
