Who's now sitting at the top of the league <doh>

  12. All wumming aside, the probably for The Smug One is that United has become a poisoned chalice club, like 'Pool used to be. By that, I mean that United's form has crashed, and it is no long a club that is automatically going to be in the top 4, yet it's fans and the rabid expectations of the media force managers to believe that it is still a prime force. Couple that with the fact that managers at poison chalice clubs get a maximum of two seasons, if they are lucky, and you can readily appreciate the fact that The Smug One is already a dead-man-walking.

He hasn't helped his own case by building a reputation on being a manager who can walk into a club and get instant results. That's where he's been lucky in the past, because he's been able to walk into clubs that are at the top of the tree, and his arrogant personality has suited the environment that he's found himself in. But his luck has run out at United, because they are a club on the wane, and The Smug One's arrogance sits wildly out of place in that kind of despondent environment, as it did at Chelsea in his last season with them.

Yep, the one thing you can say is that united aren't afraid to spend big. If Poch is the next chosen one, Adios Spuds!

Your third-rate wumming tickles me, lads!

Poch isn't stupid; and he wants to win things. He'll look at the two clubs and he'll see that he can do that more easily at Spurs.

No way is United the force or the draw for either players or managers that it used to be. That's why you ended up with a washed-up Mourhino rather than Pep.

I think it's going to be harder on you United supporters than it was on Mousers, because you have more plastics among your ranks. True fans chose their club because it was the club that was closest to where they were born, or the one that their Dads or a favourite Uncle supported. That is still fairly true of 'Pool supporters, but it has never been the case with United.

There are some dreadful times ahead for you, lads. Sorry, but there's nothing that anyone can do about it. You'll just have to grin and bear it, I'm afraid.

I'm not sure if your post is being directed at me (especially as you do spend most of your time either talking to yourself or your other account, S08), but I will try to let you down gently.
I am not, ever have been or will be a united support, so your barking up the wrong tree there. However, as was proved in the summer, united will throw big bucks at whoever or whatever they want. If they come running then Poch will go, simple as.

  17. In your dreams, fat boy!

My comments are always aimed at the hypothetical fan-base, so are not aimed at you, or any particular person.

Plus, I never like to get personal. I find insults as distasteful as I find poor wummery.

That's the man they should have gone for. Given time, Poch would do very well

Indeed Danby boy loves to sell the family silver that's why the comment he wants to stay and win things is so laughable and the #bottler knows this.
