He mentioned the negative response from the fans after the match and the pressure it was putting on the team. WLS I believe

Bizarre! What did he expect? Fans to be clapping and cheering and high fiving each other because of such a dire performance against a local rival.

Well, we definitely [HASHTAG]#madesomenouse[/HASHTAG]. Thought the place was definitely positive, probably til the first substitution. There was encouragement after the first goal, credit to all around us.
The substitution created calls intimating he didn't know what he was doing. Mostly from Q block as far as I could tell. After the second goal, it was suggested he may be needing a new job in the morning. Same source and possibly what prompted the scuffle between Q and R block.

My mate who sits in V block said everyone around him was up for it. They were all up for singing and supporting the team but after twenty minutes the R's were going backwards and losing the ball in bad positions. When Caulker lost possession on the halfway line on yet another one of his suicidal runs they lost the crowd. The same thing happened against Newcastle, the stadium was buzzing. JFH said at the fans forum that a positive and noisy crowd gives the players wings. Their wings must be clipped then.

One thing a manager should never do is criticise his own fans as you are really making life difficult for yourself. If he thinks the criticism was unjust he should try spending his hard earned cash to sit in the stands and watch that crap.

Aston Villa have come from the bowels of the competition to sit one point under us ................ amazing what a real manager can achieve in such a short space of time.............. and he doesn't need a DoF to hold his hand........ just saying.
