A week ago I would have said you must be joking, but now I'm afraid the writing is on the wall. I'm glad that I was ill all afternoon being sick as a dog and passing out so I missed the debacle that was the game!

I took Tramadol for my crippling back pain and it has reacted badly to some of my other medication. Damned nuisance because it actually gave my backpain a lot of relief!

He puts these patches on now which are morphine I think the pain has eased but if he drinks on them his heart could stop .
I said to my doc that I'd heard of these Morphine patches but I thought you were only given them as a last resort to ease your pain on you way out of this life, but she said that is not the case so I could well be put on them.
That won't go down well with my single malt habit!

He is way more mobile and suffering less pain but there are side effects of course.
I can't really offer any advice other than not watching any Norwich fixtures as I feel traumatised after this week's games.

The patches are usually another drug called Fentanyl, its 50 to 100 stronger than morphine and given to cancer patients normally, the patches are a way of administering though absorption, the only other way is intravenous and thats usually off a machine under lock and key, very dangerous opiate if combined with other pain killers or alcohol as you will suffer respiratory suppression (slowing of the heart until it stops)

You might want something a bit stronger and cleaner than Tramadol, i tried that and it sent my head in spin and felt 100 times worse, tramadol contains SSRI anti depressants which dont agree with most people (unless your depressed as well) also its a synthetic opiate pain killer. I switched to Zomorph which is slow release morphine and very safe, that hit the spot for me and put a smile on my face, you can also have a couple drinks on it with out to much risk

Thanks for the info, I'll certainly look into that. I must admit, the Tramadol did make me light-headed and I only had three doses, I found I was staggering all over the place. Good job I didn't turn to the single malt!
On the theme of medication; perhaps the club would consider putting Morphine patches on our seats instead of those bloody clappers. Most of us have been dozing during recent games, these would put us out of the misery of watching the crap Alex Neil is serving up.

Reading this thread and I can't stop laughing! You lot are a right bunch of drama queens! As much as it pains me you're 4th in the league not 4th bottom FFS! Unfortunately we are the ones that badly need a change of manager and owner come to that. My advice would be to count your blessings.
Yea, but mate. Our standards, and club stature are way above yours. We have different blessings to count. It's like Colchester United fans telling Man United fans they should be happy they aren't in League 2!!
