All as scribbled down on a bit of paper after the beer festival last night... more than mildly hung over this morning, getting worse not better. Serves me right.

Here are our fixtures for next weekend, the 5th/6th November : Some interesting ties including the North London derby and our visit to Kloppy's scouseland. Not included in our league we also have 2 hit local fixtures in the 1st round of the cup proper - St. Albans v Carlisle Utd and Borehamwood at home to Notts County, good luck to both of them.

Bournemouth v Sunderland
Burnley v Crystal Pal.
Man. City v Middlesbrough
West Ham v Stoke City
Chelsea v Everton
Arsenal v Spurs
Hull City v Southampton
Liverpool v Watford
Swansea v Man. Utd
Leicester v West Brom

Shame we couldn't include them. I doubt Snalbans have much of a chance, but fancy Borehamwood for a least a draw.
For me the FA Cup is one of the most exciting competitions there is BB, and the first round is really a big day for some of these clubs. I was following the Hemel Hempstead v Taunton replay on twitter because there was no other coverage on it on the net, and could 'feel' how important it was for both sets of fans - the so called 'big' clubs have lost this magic. There is no reason why I couldn't increase the number of fixtures to 12, because I'm doing it all manually (without a spreadsheet or anything) - but can I change it in mid competition ?

You may have to put that to a vote...I'd say yes.

No for me. I've some idea about the PL form but no idea about these two. How about Eastleigh and Basingstoke Town? The format we have makes each week an equal challenge and exciting as the FA Cup is I can't see any reason for suddenly sticking two non-league teams in.
