Agree. We were simply outplayed by a team that has better pace and been better assembled and playing well as a team.
New low point in being a QPR supporter. 52 yr duck broken and where on earth do we go from here?.

Good to have that monkey off our backs. I won't be at all surprised if we win at Forest and get rid of another.

That was shocking again.
Fair play to Brentford who were better than us all over the pitch. Hope the guy who went down with the knee injury is ok as it looked bad.
No point for me to do the usual and call for JFH head as it won't make a difference. Glad TF was there to see that and a penny for what he was thinking.

Out of interest, does anyone think that our playing style is too fast and physical for Ale Faurlin to have made a positive difference to the side?

The reason Brentford looked good was because we allowed them to. They've been poor recently scoring one goal in their last four games after drawing two ( both 0-0 ) and losing two. They were even booed off the pitch last week after a defeat at home to Barnsley. We are the gift that just keeps on giving and did so again tonight. Starting with our starting Xl. Once again JFH persists with playing Cousins on the right despite having two dedicated right sided wingers in Wszolek and Shodipo. It hasn't worked once yet he still keeps trying it along with one up front at home. Brentford showed tonight what you can do if you play two out and out wingers if you play one up front as they did with Hogan. You stretch the defence that creates the space to create chances. Something that we've been lacking with the odd exception this season.

Why throw an unfit Jack Robinson into the mix of a West London Derby after being out injured so long and having only two 45 minute halves of football under his belt. He was obviously unfit as he was often out of position and kept misplacing the ball when he attempted to make a pass.

JFH is not making the correct decisions before the game and he certainly didn't during it. Try and work this one out ... He took off our left back (Robinson) and put Wszolek on who's a right winger. He then moves the wide right player (Cousins) to right back and moves the right back (Perch) to left back? Despite having a dedicated left back (Hamalainen) sitting on the bench!!! Where did their second goal stem from? Yes indeed.

As for the game, we made Brentford look so good they may well change their name to Brentfordalona. We didn't create a meaningful chance until Sylla's header at 80 odd minutes in but the game was gone by then. It tells you the only thing you need to know that the only quality player in our squad is our keeper.

Meanwhile Jimmy's mystery machine continues to plod along and the natives are getting restless. Four different groups of people, all season ticket holders were saying that they were struggling to even bother turning up anymore. They have better things to do than watch this dross after spending two and half hours travelling each way. And that was before Brentford had even scored their first.

Spot on, saves me a lot of words. Woeful.

Have to agree mate.

They looked very dangerous on the counter, Robinson was getting skinned left right and centre in the first half.

To be fair in the second he looked better but he needs game time so I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.

It's my first game this season I have to be honest, but the tactics employed are shocking, all our attacking line up being played out of position.

Unfortunately with this situation with Les as DOF I don't think we can move forward, we need to employ a manager that knows this league, simple as.

The way i see it is that if TF does ask JFH to move on it would put SLF in an untenable position after backing jimmy to the hilt re:results, performances and undercover sting.

Surely SLF is the real problem here.
How can we move on with him still in place?
It will be just 'more of the same' until he does.
One thing for sure, I / we, will still be here when they are long gone.

It looked to me like Jimmy tried everything today. First after the break he moved Chery more central to get him on the ball with Cousins moved out right. We improved. Then Polter for Washington who's still has done about nothing gave us 2 strikers. Then Wzsolek for Robinson who was knackered, Cousins to RB, Perch to LB. Wzsolek did well and Cousins OK at RB.Finally Gladwin for Ariel who was a bit of a dissapointment for me. JFH changed the formation and the players, but nothing really was working except Wzsolek's crosses from behind their defense, the most dangerous we were all night and it looks and I hope we should see a lot more of him.

Ive written very similar under Last Straw post.......apart from Robinson issue which was unbelievable. Everyone knows you give the lad a few minutes now and again until he is ready ..........that performance from the Manager was not acceptable.

I haven't seen that thread yet 40YOH(m) I'll have a look before hitting the sack in about two bottles of scotch to try and numb the pain following that defeat.

Just back after a delayed flight and almost every route leading home ****ing closed!

We are a pile of **** with Jimmy in charge.

Not good enough at all IMO
We simply have not the players as they played OK but none of them would get in a championship all star 11
Brentford have some player in that Woods he ran the game
Our Keeper looks our best player

They wanted it more which is very worrying. For years now our play lacks pace, we are very slow and methodical in the build up.

The difference between the two set of centre halves last night was like chalk and cheese. The sooner Caulker in particular leaves our club the better, the lack of physicality for a big guy is a joke, I think he just doesn't care. Hall for me over Caulker any day.

Crowds down and lack of atmosphere is understandable. How much more can we put up with?
