Another Frankel debut for day:

1.20 Newmarket - ELYAASAAT

A son of dual G1 winner Lahudood, he's a half brother to two winners, one at Listed level.

Also interesting filly out tomorrow for Obrien PAVALENKO (Deep impact X Maybe) first foal! Can't fault her on her breeding that's for sure hope she lives up to it

This is a long way from his Willie Mullins days, now running off a handicap mark of 103! He ran a really solid race behind Degooch at Sedgefield three runs back and then followed up with a close 4th at Kelso. He then pulled up in a much better race than this last time.

A return to the form of Sedgefield will put him in the mix here, and he now runs from 5lb lower in the handicap. The yard are in good form and I think he is massively overpriced.

Sad to hear the winner of the Punchestown bumper Coeur Du Lion out of the monster french sire Voix Du Nord died on the gallops. Real shame, not sure whether one of the big boys had brought him.

Surprised to see Cole Harden over fences... doesnt scream chaser to me. In a realtively modest division with Thistlecrack chasing im sure he could have won a decent bit of prizemoney placing had he stayed hurding.

She's a departure for Coolmore, they've never really used the Japanese stallions before so it will be interesting to see if the experiment works out. There have been very few Deep Impacts to run in Europe (Andrew Black owns a few, Qatar Racing have bought some that are 2yos this year and I think the Niarchos Family and the Wildenstein's have had a couple in the past) and certainly none have been as good as those runners in Japan.

Interesting. Has tumbled unbelievably in the perchings and has actually run, in 2 out of his last 3 contests, perfectly respectable races. Does seem a big price, today.

There’s another ex Bill Mullins horse set to debut for new connections very shortly, people (may be as early as this weekend). Turban is now with Mr Henderson – although not our Mr Henderson. Is rated 17 lbs lower over hurdles, than the big ‘uns, and that seems to be the sphere that Mr Henderson, although not our Mr Henderson, seems to want to start him in. Not a tip for Turban in the slightest incidentally, pilgrims, merely an observation re the change of barns.

Will do a very long shot e/w double combining Rough Justice with Directorship in the 5.15 Newm

Ejaaby at 5.00 in the 13:50 at Newmarket
Charismatic Man at 6.50 in the 14:25 at Newmarket
Cash Again at 1.91 in the 14:35 at Uttoxeter

Roasted cod fillet with lemon butter sauce, broccoli and rice. Laced with plenty of sesame seeds giving it a slight oriental touch. 8/10.

2 points docked as there wasn't a chipped potato in sight.
