    Another one from the tracker-

2.00 UTTOXETER- LA BAGUE AU ROI- 10/11

Interesting mare to hurdling was a good bumper horse with some decent form altho obv not at her best 100% in April at Aintree but can forgive her and went off 2/1 against the likes of Copper Kay and Agustsa Kate shows she is thought a lot of!
Should have way too much for this field

You stick your 137 rated hurdler in a beginners chase at Uttoxeter and end up facing Solstice Star, Charbel, Le Prezien and Top Notch!!!!

Yours thoughts on that! With flat you get The likes of Goldophon
do you think it's good for racing when the bigger owners buy out the horses from smaller owners , obv it happens a lot more in flat because of the stud value but surely JP at most will make his money back! But Is it case the Arabs and Cool more buy horses for business and JP for fun??

JP is doing it because he wants the top horses running at the top meetings. He probably makes a fair old loss on his racing business. It must be awfully tempting for owners to cash in at any sort of level when the offers are rolling in. Le Prezien was a syndicate horse so always bound for the sales.
The only unhealthy thing regarding the JP operation in my view is when he swamps decent handicaps with 6,7 or 8 runners most of which will not show their true ability on that day.
I do admire his loyalty to Jonjo but the obvious reason that he has so many horses spread over so many trainers is to get a "handle" on what is going on in other yards.

Salt Whisle Bay looks overpriced in the first at Nmk at 40s and worth a small ew Dabble with nine runners in the field.

And Garde Champetre before it went to Bolger - JP outbid Clive Smith who instead used the money set aside for GC to buy Kauto Star.
