Just think about that for a moment................... John Carver was once our manager.................. but now we have Rafael Benitez. What the ****!!!!

It's like shagging a reef ugly fook then waking up the next week with Cindy Crawford next to you.
I really still cannot believe we have Rafa as our gaffer.

Easy draw. Nailed on win for us. Hull are in freefall. How many losses will they be on until 28th of november? 8? They're on 5 currently. Well they might get a point at Sunderland, but me thinks Mackems will get their first win of the season against Hull.

Their next fixtures before the cup match are Watford away, Southhampton at home, Mackems away and what surely must be a must win game against West Brom before they play us. Then they play relegation rivals Middlesbrough next.

If we can't advance against Hull we should remain in the championship.

Just peeped over on the Hull board and they are saying it is an easy draw for them. While they will obviously be favourites, let's hope we can at least show them it won't be easy!

Why will they obviously be favourites? They went up via the play offs last season, their squad is thin and has had minimal investment, and they're losing every game in the league right now. We're on a great run at the top of the championship, so I'd say we'd be slight favourites now.

The thing is Hull's cup form has been good and they've been comfortably dispatching championship sides, so a full strength team is a must for this one.

I just meant in terms of how people will view it, and that they will probably expect the Prem team to win. Personally I think it's a great draw for us.

Hull have already conceded 22, that's in only 9 games and more than any prem team, most championship teams have yet to concede 22 and we've all played 14 games!

We need to get at them and score quick. Play a strong side, bearing in mind we only have 3 league games in November

I know diame can split opinions in here. But they replaced him with Ryan Mason, who got subbed off at half time for spurs against us. He looks a league one standard of player. So I'd have big mo any day of the week and the more their new signings play the worse they look. They have bought poorly. I think it's a great tie for us l.

Assuming they will still be in the relegation places (which seems likely) they will have must-win games against West Brom and Middlesbrough on either side of us. If they put out a weakened side, we have to be favourites

Outstanding draw. We're as strong away these days anyway, against Championship opposition which is what we have.

Hull are poor. An assistant in charge, no investment, small squad. As said above, they would be nowhere near the top of the Championship this season.
