We've got to be happy with that. Definitely a winnable game as long as we field a strong side. With the depth of squad we have and the current rotation policy Rafa has in place, we should be able to do just that. Man U and Liverpool look good to go through. Potential banana skin for Arsenal.
Cheers. Now see if I can persuade my wife that Hull is where we should take the short break she's planning for early December instead of Italy.
Just peeped over on the Hull board and they are saying it is an easy draw for them. While they will obviously be favourites, let's hope we can at least show them it won't be easy!
Is it just me but anyone else think that draw was a fix? They didn't make the draw till the Manure game was over and Manure,Scousers and the Arse all home games and avoiding each other, just saying.
In all honesty if you're them you're thinking give us a home tie against Newcastle or Leeds, so they're bound to be happy and I think we are too. If we drew them at home I'd think we would definitely win, but I think this could go either way It's an intersting tie They gave winnable games in Nov so if they don't and snodgrass still isn't back I'll be backing us
I definitely feels as though Arsenal have been given a home tie, in both cups, 75% of the time for the past 25 years. I must check the stats one day...
They wouldn't make the draw till Manure game was over,my thinking was in case City equalise better not do it ie had a Manchester team with a home draw anyway. That doesn't happen in the FA cup, only my view mind.
Just looked on William Hill, and they have us as joint 4th favourites for the cup. We're 9/1 to win the trophy and Hull are 20/1. I would have thought they'd have had Hull as favourites to beat us in the quarters.
Last time we went to Hull we were poor and won 0-3. The Hull fans were canny that day so hoping (If I get time off) to meet up with DMD off the Hull board as he is a canny lad.
