We can ignore all previous stats and hoodoos. We are a different team under the new regime. Nothing prior to this has any bearing: we can win at the beginning of the season, we can win on Sky, we can come back from 1 or 2 goals down, and we won't always ship goals when we are in front.

Didn't Cortese look worried even at 3.0 up. He says he is too nervous to enjoy match days and during this game he couldn't even stay in his seat.

3-0 up against Leeds with 70 minutes on the clock, I broke out into a cold sweat.

If I was at the match, I stay till the end like a good girl, but I'm terrible watching it on tv. At 2.0 I considered recording it and watching later and I only slightly relaxed at 3.0. Still got the old Saints hang ups.

I had a few quid on Saints to win 3 - 1, I had to stop myself from leaping off my seat when the penalty was given. I know we didn't keep a clean sheet but it was 12 to 1 so thought it was a great result :1980_boogie_down:

When they scored the penalty with seconds to go, I was pleased that Kelvin slung the ball out, because I actually was afraid their striker would grab the ball, run back to the centre circle and they'd somehow score 2 more. Must have faith.
