I gather some of you good folk are rather knowledgeable about pubs.
Need a pub that is non segregated to meet up with a couple of Brentford fans before the game.
Tx in advance.

I think the Defectors Weld is fine if you don't wear colours. C&S is a QPR pub but well behaved away fans get served. Perhaps not Brentford ones though.......

There's a pub opposite Westfield's above the precinct that accepts home and away fans. ( I can't remember the name of it. I haven't been there since. ) But my last visit there was after the QPR v Leeds match in 2011. They beat us 2-1 but we were still promoted as champions so everyone was happy. We had a few beers together but inevitably drunk them under the table. When they left we sang 'we can see you sneaking out' and a good day was had by all. Exactly what following football was all about. A bit of breakfast, beers, football match ... pub ... and home considerably later than expected.

The only pub I have seen mixed groups of fans in the Bush is the Wetherspoons in the old shopping centre by the Green. Nearly all the other pubs are home fans only.

If you want neutral, there is a Wetherspoons at the corner of King Street in Hammersmith (not sure of it's current name but it used to be called the Swan). I have seen fans from different clubs drinking in there whenever ourselves and Fulham are playing at home on the same day. Couple of stops on the Hammersmith & City Line and you are in the Bush for the match.

the swan was turned into an edwards
travesty
i think the weatherspoons was 2 or 3 doors down
dont wear your colours was the rule 14 years ago
might have changed but i doubt it

The Defectors Weld sells really nice beer, better than your average....but you cannot wear colours unless completely covered up. The bouncers on the door sometimes take a dislike to you and you cannot get in at all.

Brew Dog on Goldhawk Road, more expensive, but Brew Dog which I adore by the way, is the best beer in the whole world bar non (no I am not biased)...completely unaligned pub but due to the cost, fairly empty...

I know l'm calling from afar but the best advice l can offer as a QPR supporter is ...........never should you be able to look out of the bottom of your glass.
If you can, signal the bartender a.s.a.p!
Enjoy the day.

Do they sell anything from cask Beth? They used to but then stopped, and I don't often buy canned or bottled beer in a bar. It's a pretty big chain now, bars all over the place including Brazil and Finland. I haven't been to the Shepherds Bush one, have a couple of others. Prefer a proper boozer to be honest, though the beer is good in a crafty kind of way.

WELL ITS GOING TO BE A HARD DAYS WORK BECAUSE THE BRENTFORD FANS LAST SEASON WERE ALLOWED INTO THE QUEEN VIC AND CAUSED TROUBLE SO ARE BANNED NO PUBS WILL ALLOW THE BEES FANS IN WEARING COLOURS
BUT IF THE BRENTFORD FANS DONT WEAR COLOURS
THEY CAN GET INTO ANY PUB ACCEPT SPRINGBOK ADELAIDE AND BRITTISH QUEEN BUT THEY MUST BE CAREFULL BECAUSE THERE IS A VERY GOOD CHANCE THAT THE BEES WILL PUT TWO HUNDRED INTO A PUB LIKE THE CONNINGHAM THEN START SINGING
THIS WILL BRING OUT BY MOBILE TELEPHONE THE WHOLE THUG ARMY,AND YOU MIGHT GET THE WINDOWS SMASHED IN BY QPR
but i think thats unlikely, brentford fans are not that stupid they will probabley beat us,then they can sing inside the ground

i used to spend a lot of time in one of the two pubs on that corner
i hope its the edwards they changed and not the proper pub

Used to be the Beaumont Arms, Kiwi, I'd forgotten it had first changed to an Edwards. What a dreadful pine-filled nightmare those Edwards pubs were. It actually looks like a pub again.
