Sissoko due for a 3 match ban tomorrow for his deliberate elbow against Arter at Bournemouth ?

Spuds lost their heads again and tried to kick the other players out of the game, desperate times when they are doing that against Bournemouth.

That's great news Piskie and may I say thoroughly deserved. It must be an Argentinian thing! Getting nothing start the bully bus. Surely another to soon pass through the managers turnstiles at White Hart Lame. He's getting found out more than Martin Jol but with supposededly better players.

spurs really need a win in the next lge game or the rot and doubt will really set in and the draw master tag will continue to haunt them :D

Being invincible is all about not losing, Skiddy. We could also be called The Unbeatables.

Another great title for a thread, Skiddy. You should start it. Thanks.

Despite Arter saying he thought it wasn't deliberate?

Does it only become deliberate if the other player says it is or can the panel figure it out for themselves!
He was bending down to pick up the ball for a throw-in when it happened. Arter should have been nowhere near him so I can't see how it could have been deliberate, I agree the FA may think they know better though.

Your excuse for sissoko is pretty laughable, it was clear that he lifted his elbow into his face deliberately.

That aside, I think Arter was being very generous to sissoko in his post match interview. At the time he was clearly incensed and was making it clear in no uncertain terms what had just happened.

Must be some new usage of the word 'clear' that I've not come across before. Watching it live I thought Arter was trying to stop the throw being taken quickly and had run into Sissoko. The replay makes it look more sinister I agree.

So you agree that Sissoko lifted his elbow into Arter's face ?

He lifted his elbow and Arter's face was nearby but it didn't look to me that he knew that.
What did you think of Atkinson's decision not to send off David Luiz on Sunday? That is likely to have a much bigger impact on the season's final outcome I would have thought.

Of course he knew he was there, that's why he lifted his elbow. Why else would he have done that ?

What was the Luiz decision ? The one where his studs were high on fellani ?

Try picking up a ball and raising it above your head without moving your elbow!
Not sure if it was Fellaini but he caught him full on the knee with the ball miles away.

I'm pretty sure that I could lift a ball up without jutting my elbow out and up in the direction of somebody's face standing next to me. <laugh>

To be honest mate, your excuses are sounding pretty pathetic.

As for the Fellani one by Luiz, his studs were high and it was dangerous. He could easily have seen red for that.

Then we might have only won 3-0 <laugh> :p
