Correct, I said "darker skin" and "non whites", not "blacks". The blacks reference was all your own work.

Do you consider people from India to be black?

Stan, I know you like attention, but struggle as you're a tad limited, but are you seriously trying to claim you meant Chinese? :emoticon-0100-smile

There's a great article (that I can't find) by a journalist contacting various agencies, such as the black Police Officers Association, and the Campaign for racial Equality asking what he'd need to demonstrate to be defined as black. At that time they couldn't answer, as there was no definition.

They've since rejigged their policies, so I'll go by their definition, which is pretty much all encompassing. Effectively, it's self defined, so you can be black if you want.

It makes the over use of the ill-defined concept of racism self defeating when it gets drilled down.

You get very upset when anyone implies that they know better than you what you meant in a post and yet now you're doing just that with me in an attempt to deflect from your white / black generalisation.

I meant non whites and darker skin. That's why I posted "non whites" and "darker skin".

You took that to mean "blacks". The Syrians and Iraqis so many people are fearful of aren't black.

According to the campaign for racial equality, black police officers association and other key players, they can fall into the same category. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Especially given the context of the discussion, you betray your bigotry and prejudice by assuming that Syrians and Iraqis can't be black. :emoticon-0105-wink:

This reminds me of a thread on here once where a Chelsea fan called Suarez a spic and eventually dug out a link to an article which said it was a common term a few hundred years ago to refer to a South American rather than just admit he'd been a bit ignorant.

So you do genuinely think that anyone who isn't white is automatically black and if anyone queries that they are in fact bigoted?

Nice one Dull, you've hung yourself again <laugh>

Google will start charging Dull for excessive use of its service.

A strange leap and twist in logic there Stanley. You'd best target your point to the Black Police Officers Association. :emoticon-0105-wink:
