Stick, nobody seems to have mentioned the role of your jockey tonight. I may be biased, because I have such respect for Luke Morris, but I thought he gave your boy an admirable ride. Always in the right place (and 11/14 over a mile at Kempton isn't a good draw, imo), got the horse into a potentially winning position a furlong and a half out, gave him full physical support, didn't overtax him when the race couldn't be won, but still made sure of the place money. If Squire was mine, Luke's would be the first number I'd ring next time.
Not sure I agree with the up-in-trip school, but I'll defer to wiser heads. Well done, anyway - he must give you a lot of pleasure.
