They're asylum seekers, that's enough.

No **** just walks in, which is why there are thousands of people there.

You could move to Australia, just apply, they're applying to be given residence in the UK because their countries are often war-torn ****holes

They are not asylum seekers unless they apply in the first safe country they land in so they should have applied in Turkey Greece Hungary Italy or France.
They should apply the same way as others wanting to live in the UK.
There are Americans and Australian students being deported every day even though they would like to continue living here after Uni.

The UK can't avoid all responsibilities it has as one of the largest economies in the world because it's an island, and if they'd got a boat straight over here you'd want them deported even faster.

They could let 500000 refugees in tomorrow and I doubt you'd even encounter one of them.

Syria is sexy at the moment. Mention Syria and the press get themselves all in a knot, politicians are falling over themselves for another sound bite either standing up for Assad & Putin or condemning them for the atrocities against the Syrian people. They will all be last weeks' chip papers as soon as another conflict pops up. Does anyone give a f*ck about Iraq now? Anybody bothered about the re-emergence of the Taliban in Afghanistan? Nobody care about what goes on in Nigeria, Zimbabwe or even China?

Also, have you noticed all the 'refugees' have mobile phones? What sort of package are they all on? Does Carphone Warehouse do an asylum seekers sim card?
