I was referring to fans generally. Arsenal have been in the Champions League for the last 20 seasons but some fans want him sacked because they haven't won enough. Manure fans want anyone sacked who doesn't perform miracles in one season - same with Man City. McCarthy has done miracles with a squad brought together for peanuts. They haven't won for 5 games - just look at their Board!! Aston Villa, Leeds, Cardiff etc etc. Sorry but I think many fans of many Clubs have lost all sense of reality.
You make some good points 1950 and as you rightly say, fans of clubs who have tasted success expect it to continue!!!!
Terrible to **** up a 2 nil lead away from home again we needed a Gayle and another KLOSE but logical intelligent honest interview. Maybe Pritchard not NAISMITH. CAPS LOCK issues
I could not believe, after AN raving about his performance last Saturday, that Pritchard was not in the starting 11, then Naismith was brought on as a replacement for Wes. Not sure of the logic for either decision, but ultimately it MAY have cost us the win that we surely should have been going all out for.
That's the spirit Golden. Perhaps you could of worded it thus ? "I knew when Naismith came on we would blow our lead "
If Huddersfield win tonight we go 3rd and I fully expect Sam Allardarse to take over for the Preston game .
While I can't be sure of the logic, GE, the substitution made sense to me as I've said before. Pritchard came in against Rotherham at home because the situation was right for him to start with Wes. His weakness according to AN is his tracking back whereas Naismith is better at that while also providing a potential goal-scoring threat. Once it was 2-2, Naismith moved out to WL so that we could bring on Oliveira and play a 4-4-2 which, IMO, allowed us to get the upper hand for the rest of the match. That's my reading of it anyway.
Is AN out of his depth now? Should a more experienced person be at the healm? His team appear to be complacent and erratic
I don't get it with AN - last season, he seemed to change his starting 11 just because he could and now this season, he's hardly changed it. I'm NOT impressed with Brady's performances (yes his goal against Wolves was brilliant, but 'one swallow doesn't make a summer!!!') and I'd like to see Josh start for a few games.
Just seen on Twitter that the mighty has-beens a.k.a Take That are appearing at Carrow Rd next summer. Maybe that's what our Jez could say to AN when he hands him his P45 after next week's loss to Hootun's shower?
Are they really!? Obviously they are total sh*te, but that would sell out in minutes. If true, that's a good booking.
