Sunderland desperately need to move away from Ellis Short, he has wasted millions of pounds financing some crazy deals for previous managers and has now shut up shop on backing David Moyes, my friends up there are resigned to the fact that this year could be the season that finally sees them going down.
They are a very friendly bunch of fans that we have got on with ever since the '85 friendship clash at Wembly!

I remember chatting to some Sunderland fans in the Coach and Horses last time we were in the Championship together and they certainly were very friendly (and very inebriated, as they'd taken a FEW cans on the coach and then stopped at a pub on the way down!!!).

One of the first goals I remember vividly. My dad recorded it onto tape, because the highlights were too late for me to stay up. Remember watching that Video, and being stunned at the time. I'd never seen a goal like it.
