I'm counting the minutes to this one, looking forward to going out watching with a mix of excitement and dread.

I can't call it at the minute. All logic tells me that with our attack and their centre halves and keeper we should piss it. Add to that Henderson v Pogba in CM and it should be game over.

Got a horrible feeling though that we'll **** it up somehow. By Jose picking Fellaini or getting a player sent off in the first ten minutes. Could be those two things aren't mutually exclusive either.

**** knows.

What I do know is if we win we are genuinely in the title race and if we lose we're already playing catch up, we have to take advantage of City & Spurs not winning and close the gap.

Same with mix of excitement and dread

You're silly to write off Henderson though, he's been really good for us this season

You want to be thankful we still dont have Allen after he totally outshone Pogba at the Euros

My feelings are pretty much the same. This is a game we should win. Though will no doubt **** it up.

Can't decide whether to watch at the pub or not. Mainly due to being pissed every night for the last four nights.

May as well go for the 5th night then

This game is massive for Utd, not so much for Liverpool (in terms of league position).

We've had a bitch of a start and done very well picking up wins against tough teams. Even if you win we'll be on the same point tally. We win we're 6 points ahead and starting to open a gap on you.

Liverpool win and we go joint top, we lose we've still had an excellent start to the season given the fixture list.

Happy days and a great match ahead.

Klopp usually gets the better of Jose. Klopp's teams are everything Jose's teams aren't.....

Can't wait for this one.

I've got no choice, if I want to watch I've got to go out as I'm not at home. **** this streaming nonsense, I'd sooner listen on the radio than watch a frozen screen.

From what I've seen down here there are more Liverpool fans than United so I will be very tense this evening.

agree with most.
But if Pool fail to win, questions will be asked about Pool regardless of your table position.
Manu loss - hell will break for Jose - which I don't foresee anyway.

.

Why? We've beaten Arsenal and Chelsea this season and Spurs were lucky to get a point from us.

All away from home.

The only way we'll get questions asked about us is if we get thumped. Any other scenario the questions are just hollow media rubbish.

People are already talking about Title for Pool. Which is ridiculous.
Pool are close to perfect on the other hand Jose & Manu are not even close to good.
If that Manu team beats you or even draws away, serious questions will be there for your title or even top 4.

It is a long season - I feel you are top 4 material and noway closer to title

Anyone else think Rooney should start?

He normally plays well against them.

No, I wouldn't. Not tonight, maybe bring him on with half an hour to go.

I would like a Pogba/Herrera CM and a Martial, Mata, Rashford three behind Zlat.

That really should turn them over. Plenty options from the bench too.

They do have a couple of players to worry about, namely Coutinho, Firminho and Mane, but I'd hope we can cope with that.

Looks good written down. That **** Sturridge will more than likely have his one blinder in ten though and end up doing his cretin dance.

I do feel nervous. But I love the fact that everyone has more or less written us off for this match.

yeah you are right being nervous. Rooney is made a scapegoat from GOAT. But he could be an impact sub. As long as there is no Fellaini this is a 50-50 match.

Even Scholes ? But FFS don't write off Jose especially against Pool. This is where he thrives.
0-1 written all over this.

I think we have had good rest to go all out for this game. On paper, we should never lose to this pool team. But that's on paper. Those fkers have a way of tearing up paper. If we can win this match, it would really kick start Jose's reign. But if we lose, I don't think it would be the end of the world. I hope we can destroy them.

COME ON UNITED!!!!!!

Lets be real here, only idiots are seriously thinking we're going to win the title.

We're looking to break into the top 4 this season. All half sensible journalists are singing from that sheet, not the Liverpool will win the title nonsense.

I think Utd fans are pretending they've been written off for this game, absolute nonsense.

It's a game that could go either way. 50/50 imo

There have been millions of idiots last season. <laugh>

The fact is Liverpool has got as good a chance as any of winning the title. I see only City as rival contenders. This is a match that we will win. Not easily at first but ultimately quite comfortably and convincingly. The difference will be in the strikeforce. We have been scoring freely and I can see Sturridge and mane having a field day at home.
