Let's talk about some of your own pre poch buys.... Or not lol

So Comolli got you one League Cup win.
But you are so ungrateful that you forced him out and his replacements have
won you nothing.

Hmm ...
I didn't force anyone out of the club? , my point is that for all the money you "diddnt" spend, what has it gotten you in return? Nothing to shout about is the answer.

For all the money that the Poool spent during the Comolli era, do you consider it
to be good ROI given your domestic league and domestic/UEFA cup performances ??

To use a phase ... Nothing to shout about is the answer.

Not at all, farcical if anything, but then I wasn't the one bringing up net spend in regards to on pitch success was I :)

Money is definitely a real issue for the Mousers. A couple of weeks ago JW indicated that further development of the ground was unlikely as the Trotskyite Spirit of Shankley wouldn't accept the ticket pricing necessary to pay for it. This comes on the back of the Americans whoring themselves out to any Chinese investor willing to pump some cash in. Given that incomes have never been so large n the PL and that Spurs can afford to build a stadium that's going to cost £500m and probably more, something's very badly wrong down at FSG's bank.

The Americans paid off the massive debt existing when they took over by way of an interest free loan and paid for the new stand in the same manner. Massive and ridiculous investment was made to achieve regular CL qualification. The return has been to fail to qualify for EL. Recent reductions in spending reflect that there isn't any money left rather than the learning of the lessons of previous flagrant wastage. This story isn't over yet.

That was then. This is now...
No that was last season, this is now.

I think what you mean is the skinflint levy has you competing for top 4 without spending a penny?I get the euphoria and I suppose it's an improvement from what you guys are used to in more recent times. But really your just arsenal in disguise until you start collecting silverware. Would you not agree?
