Bassett Saint added to the list I've had a very brief look n there's an Irish pub around 10-15 minute walk from Milans main square. Anywhere too near there will be way too pricey I imagine. Also the Navigli (sp?) Canal area looks like a cracking place to have a few bevvies... don't know if it would be suited better to after the game though. Like I say though I've only had very brief look we should all do some research and post suggestions on here.
Ha ha, Pick up from Flemming park at around 6pm on Tuesday and arrive at hotel 3pm Wednesday.....apparently. We then depart Milan, Friday at 6pm and home on Saturday at 3pm. What could go wrong???
I'll have to give you my UEFA scarf at the Burnley game... then I can point at the television whilst in Germany screaming, "Das ist mein scarf, honest Wolfgang!"
Burnley game is on Sunday, isn't it? Not sure I can get off work for that one. So you may be missing the San Siro, but at least you'll get to see Burnley at St Mary's, and we'll probably score a hat-full as I'm not there. See, it all balances out in the end.
I was actually intending on making Burnley my first league game of the season when Milan was still a pipe dream... can't afford it now for obvious reasons
On a slightly more serious note flt if i can carry it* do you want me to try n grab your nipper** a half n half scarf while I'm out there? * is code for if I haven't spent too much money by then ** I say your nipper but we all know I really mean you
Thanks for the offer, but he is good with his Europa scarf he bought* at the Prague home game. Thanks anyway. *yeah, I bought and told him to tell his mum he wanted it
Not heard yet in regards to my "dodgy" ticket. A relative who lives in Italy is registered under another family members season ticket. Won't be able to get a ticket for the saints end if true. Hoping club might miss it as under the same surname.
Aren't you taking a risk by not contacting them? I guess it all depends on how closely the Italians look. Good luck.
Haha...don't want to alert them. I gave them the details of the person attending the match. It just doesn't match the customer details. If saints send the ticket then all should be good
Yes, the passport number will match, so we can easily blag the name as an administrative cock up. I don't think the ticket checking will be too rigorous...I know my ticket matches so worst case I leave them outside to chat with the scarf salesmen
Tickets are being distributed via recorded delivery so will be prompt, but would be very surprised if they weren't with us by Friday as its far from the club to say when people could travel out there.
