Sandro should be a starter, but there's obviously something in his contract which means if he plays in the league a certain amount of times we've got to give him a new deal. If you want to try and win games,Cousins should partner him as he offers the best attacking option. When he's been picked he's been played too deep, give him the opportunity to get into the box more and I think he'll flourish. If we're just looking to draw or lose games then perm any 2 from the other 3,it's a shocking statistic that Henry is the top scorer out of them !
Apart from two goals against Rochdale, what from Sandro's career suggests he's going to be a regular goalscorer? This is ignoring all the other reasons not to play him.
Maybe the fact that the next game he got picked in was against Sunderland, and he scored our goal in that game too ! He's a different league to any other player we have at the club at the moment, surely even you can see that. The reason he's not playing has nothing to do with his ability on the pitch,it's totally down to football politics. That's the part that pisses me off the most !
No, not really. Yeah he scored against Sunderland and it was a nice goal but he's averaged less than two a season in his career. Also I don't think he's all that. I wasn't particularly impressed with his first hour against Sunderland (the final half an hour was embarrassing) and he's never looked much cop for us IMO. For the meagre increase in quality we might possibly see with him in over Borysiuk/Luongo/Cousins I don't think it's worth it. I'd play him over Henry though.
