looking like there may be a chance that ne1 have finally realised its not just the big boys that can participate in this transfer window, and s. ireland is to have a medical.
where as i started this post slightly tongue in cheek i do believe they may get themselves a decent player, damn

lost his way a bit the last few years, but still a good player imo. be interesting how he does for them, and if there's a permanent deal in there - barton and nolan aren't getting any younger

 

Good signing for us if he can get his head in the game, not really sure where he will fit in when we have our players back from injury though, he wouldnt be in my starting lineup.

if you would like to look on ssn transfer clock watch, you will see more on the ireland story. but seeing as though you dont want him, i dont expect to see you on OUR board later singing his praises and saying what a midfield you now have, along with barton and ben awful. i look forward to not hearing you anymore regarding this story. personally i think he would be a good buy for you, but not so

 

We already have a better midfield than Sunderland without Ireland anyway.

I would have agreed with this before their two signings, but we can't be sure until we see how they do for them. They're overhyping Muntari like he single-handedly won the Champions League though, I mean, Djimi Traore has a medal!

 

bit different a full back winning the champions league to a central midfielder. tough to carry a player in the middle of the park allt he way to winning it.

 

Yeah, but again, Muntari didn't play a huge part in that. He came on in the 79th minute of the final, he was never an instrumental part of their midfield. Sort of comparable to someone like Zenden for you, played occasionally but not week-in week-out. So perhaps he's been a little overhyped.
