And back to cricket: England rallying 147-3 Stokes 52; Duckett 37 after 27 overs.

 

200-3 after 35 overs.

Duckett out for 60

 

England got 309-8 (though several wickets went when we were chasing a good score...in general, Bangladesh fielded badly). Stokes got a century and Buttler got 63 off 38 balls. Duckett got a 50 on debut.

 

Umpires seem to have lost their confidence now that they can be overturned on appeal...they keep going for replays on run outs that I could have given 'in' from the garden.

 

Looks like a target of 310 isn't going to be enough.

 

Getting interesting as wickets tumble.

 

England win by 21 runs. Pakistan were coasting, but then Ball and Rashid got in amongst them. Our fielding was better than them and we are stronger down the order. Two good debuts...Duckett got his fifty and Ball got 5-51

 

I don't care about Pakistan,, we were playing Bangladesh what a collapse though!!!

 

Bangladesh was East Pakistan when I was young.

And Victoria was on the throne before one of you says it.
