Could someone have told that idiotic commentator and Hoddle that we were playing MALTA not Spain or Italy..Drawing 0-0 in the second half against Malta was as bad as losing to Iceland...We were $hit

Why do England fans expect to pan every team they face? 3 points. That's the goal. They got them. Stop moaning you set of tits.

A symbol of all that is wrong with modern day football.

I don't care. There's nothing wrong with it, some of my family follow them, others follow Ireland, some follow England. I've explained this a billion times on here, there's always somebody who pipes up.

I like watching England, but I don't support them like I do the Faroes. I never have, ever.

In fact, it's more a symbol of things that are right with football, that a tiny nation once ranked 193rd in the world is supported by somebody who lives in a country with an embarrassment of footballing riches. I've been to games in the past and when timing permits, I'll go again for sure. It's an opportunity to see family and to take a holiday in one of the most serene places in the world.

So, you know. Shut up.

You are no different to someone from Hull or East Riding describing Man U, Liverpool, Leeds as "us".

Some of your family follow them some follow Ireland, some follow England. You mean to say there are other dysfunctional types in your family? You don't "follow" or support other countries when it comes to football. Or any other sport come to that. Could you imagine a Scot, Spaniard, Argentinian or anyone else saying the have no time for their own country's football team but "follow" someone else.
Wonder if an FC fan or KR fan would say they have no time for England but follow some minor RL nation instead.

It's totally different. How is it different to some of the fans on here from other countries, like Febbos for example, who are Swedish but follow City? Or any fan not from the UK who chooses to follow City and not their local team? It's not even worth getting into a debate about, I grew up in a family that supported those countries. So naturally I followed suit. I don't really identify with the Irish side much but the family from the Faroes were much more prominent in my life so I chose to support them. I don't have to justify myself to you or anybody else, although I've extended you that courtesy.

I used the word follow because given my location and my job I can't give the team the full support I'd like. I'll never wish ill of England and I always want them to do well, but if the two played each other again I'd be wanting the Faroes to win (or at least not get battered).

I don't know where you get off calling my family dysfunctional, a man of your age should have more respect.

There are no ferries direct, it's a bit convoluted (and pricey, hence why I don't go very often), you have to fly to Copenhagen, then to Bergen and go from there. You can fly from Birmingham or Edinburgh.

Your taking the Midge Urine, right? Except to pan every team...Geez, I would expect the Pint&Pot XI to give Malta a good game..
