All is not lost for Labour, Tony Blair is reportedly considering a political comeback. The unelectable and the untouchable. All we need now is Lord Mandy to emerge from under his stone to complete the Holy Trinity...<laugh>
I suggest he watches The Killings of Tony Blair first just to guage public opinion The man deserves the electric chair IMO

How a freshly formed UK government thinks it can take on Europe is beyond me

Not only are they wet behind the ears against some clever old sods in Europe but they are not representing the 48% at all

Ponder on these facts
My French friends cannot even understand why there is no one on the streets fighting this bullshit

Many believe this is a farce being played out but IMO it's a true reflection that the UK doesn't care and has its head in the sand

What has happened

There will not be any excuses

The U.K. News only reports a UK spin but make no mistake because already in Grance there are reports of trade boycotts to the UK designed to shift prices up for imports to the UK really dark stuff

It's a game of chess we cannot win IMO Over supply of fresh foods also means things will get even cheaper in my local market Yes the UK will still get for example it's fresh veg from Kenya in M&S etc livery but once the cats out the bag re price and demand it won't be long until the UK sees prices rise ... One from the suppliers and Two from the likes of M&S etc who will see opportunity

Dark days ahead
I may never vote on the UK and am ready to become a French citizen if required

Disgraceful

Would Blair be worse than what they have now?

That muppet is a national traitor. Sending our brave soldiers into an illegal war without the proper equipment, then on their return injured and maimed they don't receive the proper care. It is disgusting and he should be put away.
As for Europe, there is too much panic over it. Only one to worry about is Germany as they run the show, the rest are Mickey Mouse. Merkel has problems with her own people re immigrants which may cost her.
Hollande won't be the French leader so don't worry about what he says. As if we are bothered what Italy/Spain /Greece and co say <laugh>. We should not undervalue our country. We will get what we want.

13% devaluation of the pound is not panic. It is a fact.

I think many of the millions that travel abroad for their holiday may choose to stay at home. I would like to see how France, Greece,Spain,Italy and co cope when we are not spending there?

You can now but those countries don't seem to have the drivers for wanting more and more
The U.K. has enjoyed itself very nicely as the economy is based all around the housing market and lumping up debt against that
It's that fragile system that could be the problem IMO

We spend more on our second mortgages (cars) than these other countries IMO
Then of course you have the subject of actual second houses and the amount of landlords

I thought Amber Rudd and May were meant to be the pro-European, Remain wing of the Tory party?

Talking about occupying the Centre ground while in reality pandering to the right (in order to hoover up those UKIP votes) is deeply cynical.

It's only because Labour have a trot in charge, and have moved even further away from the centre that they can do this.

Luckily because of our wonderful FPTP voting system my vote doesn't count, otherwise I might have a tough choice come the general election.

<yikes> Tooting I said weeks ago not to trust May. I was invited to a dinner and after speech with her talking about immigration. I didn't go because they wanted £50 for the privilege. Anyway, she was going to be asked tough questions on immigration and guess what?....She cancelled. In these parts, she is known as a cold, but tough person.
We do need a strong leader but agree we need a strong opposition as well.
