We're the cannon fodder. Sky work on the basis that if they show us at home, there's a decent chance of seeing six goals
No Boxing Day game? Another tradition, and one that I love, bites the dust. However, if Windom is in the country and going to the Brighton game, I might try for that game.
We play Wolves again away on New Years Eve. Playing the same team home and away in the same month could be a first. The Villa game is a 12:00 pm ko apparently, which is far too early to have a football match. And Brighton away on a Tuesday at 12:30?
We play Norwich at home on the 19th of November. That is the only home 3pm kick off on a Saturday until we play Fulham on the 21st of January. Which is also likely to be moved to accommodate Sky.
I've just read that a Championship club gets £80k from Sky for hosting a televised game, on top of the c£5m base TV payment per season. Compared to £120m in the PL.
I quite like that Brighton has been moved. We get to watch all the Boxing Day stuff and you'll be sick of family and turkey by the 27th to either pop down there or go to the pub.
Thank you very much. A Thursday night game. Just great. Yet another home game I won't manage to get to!
Great stuff thank you I have best mates who support each club not looking forward to Seagulls game however as they will finish easily in top six
