Having had time to reflect on the events of a week ago and our dominant first half performance at Molineux, I’m prepared to give him until after our home game against Derby on 2nd Jan – as long as we don’t get a repeat of the same fixture in 2011!!!

Almost better when I got back to the bookies where I'd predicted the correct score at 25-1, but only had £1 on it!!! <laugh>

Tight bugger, should have risked a tenner. I remember Robbie Savage being substituted and walking off really slowly and the ref pointing to his watch and adding time on. Thanks Robbie Savage! #backfired

Was that the game McNally and Lambert combined to set up the winner?

I bet £5 and usually spread it over 3 or 4 possible scores.
Yes, who can ever forget Robbie sauntering off and the ref adding extra time.
My other lasting memory from that Easter Monday was colin's face when Jackson scored the winner, as with us only managing a draw, LooPeeAargh had won the title and I'm sure he mouthed the words, "Aw f**k"

Reading at home on a Tuesday night. We were 1-1 going in to extra time. The last time I left a match before the final whistle!!! <doh>

Are you sure? I always thought it was that Derby game. I was sure it wasn't a night game. I remember it being in sunshine? Unless I'm totally mis remembering it all.

Apologies FML it was a Saturday, though I doubt it would have finished in sunshine, as it was in February. Read the link I've posted.
    Posts crossed.

Hmmmm....Floodlights must have been on "Full Beam" that evening then!

(Sorry. I can't say "full beam" anymore without thinking of Alan Partridge saying it in a South African accent.)

Well Mikey lad, we won't see you there will we, as the mighty Tescoes will be either rooted in League Two or you'll be in the Pie and Mash (Southern) League.

Easy enough to 'unstick' it, so it slithers down through the pages but I just wonder if that might be the kiss of death? <yikes> <devil> :emoticon-0127-lipss

Good to see you back, CT. This thread has definitely taken an ironic turn since the Birmingham match which brought it's return. There's a more positive thread on 'The Promotion Race'.
