...at the risk of invoking a ****storm of disagreement - to my mind this quote from LFW really encapsulates the reason why it's the right decision not to play Sandro.

"A final substitution gave Rangers another nudge towards victory. With the crowd appealing for Sandro's introduction, Hasselbaink turned instead to Nico Hamalainen with Lynch now struggling with the pace of the game. A bold move, one that was greeted by Sandro removing his training top and throwing it to the ground on the sideline – exactly the sort of behaviour a young kid about to make his league debut needs from one of the senior pros while he's receiving his final instructions before entering a derby match at a crucial point"

he wants to play

So do I - do I get a game?

In all seriousness... he's a senior pro... so he needs to behave like one, not like an overpaid, sick-note, entitled, want away, prima-donna who's probable motivation to play is to simply put himself in the shop window for a 'loadsamoney' move to China.

He's not QPR...never was and never will be - the sooner we move on the better IMO.

also doesnt excuse the management haveing fit players and not picking them
if we didn wan rid i would lke to bet he would play in most games if fit

I read an article about China in today's Sun, it sounds ideal for him, a resting home for washed-up has-beens with over-inflated egos. Yaya will be out there soon as well, maybe they'll share a birthday cake...

Not defending the behaviour, but he can't really win, can he? If he acts like this, then he only wants to play to put himself in the shop window. If not, he's a lazy sicknote who's only interested in picking up a pay cheque.

I would also have a strop if I had to watch Karl Henry getting picked every week, knowing full well I was a better player. Politics that's all this is.
Better, maybe, but JFH is trying to instil a strong team ethic.
Picking players that have made it evident they "want away", doesn't really fit in with that ethos.
So not surprised JFH doesn't play him.

Berate Henry all you want...but it is obvious that if JFH says jump, run, skip....that is exactly what Henry does.
Henry is exactly JFH sort of player....Sandro isn't.

Sandro is desperate to get away....No point making the team play around him (when fit) for him to b@@@@r off in Jan.
If we are to get anything out of this season, it has to be built on a steady team ethos, where they play for each other every match. I am fully with JFH on this

The bit I despair over is JFH inability to alter a match from the touchline....or the his ability to out think another manager

Didn't say Sandro should play, was only trying to put myself in his shoes. There is no debate who's the better player. What is best for QPR is a different matter and certainly up for debate.

Sandro is only a better player on paper or in the head to our resident donkey Henry

But Henry earns his wages for us and the club have failed to find a better player to knit a side together
Yep well passed his sell by date is our Henry but Sandro could learn a lot from Henry's commitment to his job and also his postional disapline
In what every position he is asked to play in

Henry I have watched live at LB and it was a masterclass on stopping supply and he bombed forward when he could and delivered good crosses

Any new manager who came into our club will still pick him IMO

I would like to see both Sandro and Henry start with Henry doing the minding while Sandro expressed himself that on paper at least could give us a solid core to steal football matches and that's the goal IMO

Press Contain and defend a lead
Henry to me looks weak at times as he is forced to do two jobs at times

He has to sit and mop

I am hoping it occurs in the near future and both players get comfortable

Sandro already has one eye on January IMO

Together they could easily be the best central partnership in this division IMO

..he's not fit though - 60 mins in and he was blowing like a whale in the EFL cup according to those that were there...

Can someone explain why we have been unable to get rid. He does not feature in JFH's plans going forward. He costs a lot. He wants to go. Yet nobody wants him. Which of the three obvious reasons apply?

1 TF wants to recoup as much of the money Harry persuaded him to invest in 'the boy'. But he was never worth that in the first place
2 Would be purchasers are put off by his sick note reputation
3 He genuinely wants to go. But only if he gets as good if not better terms than he had with us.

We can speculate al we want but for those clamouring for his recall, it is clear that he is no more than a quick fix - at best the two or three games before he picks up another injury.

3 supplemented by 2, and the fact that his wage demands won't be met by anybody except us.

From his perspective it probably 3.

From the purchasers angle, 2 makes any investment extremely risky

Levy did what he always does - sell at the top of the market... it's all downhill from there on...

play him for59 minutes then

I respect your different opinion, but I genuinely don't get it - a player that wants away, is unfit, has a poor attitude and has never performed consistently for the club over fit and hungry players that can only benefit from a decent run in the side.

Happy to disagree, and trust in the current management to make the right decision.
