Indeed but Blackheath are the oldest Rugby Union club in the world, also the first to have 'open membershi' - unusual for an OB's club.

Back in the day,a great place to play, unlike Bedford et al, they cose to remain amatuer, asd did Rosslyn Park, another 'proper' club

Neath RFC is the oldest Club in Wales (I believe) - I was involved there 20+ years ago. Great days - but "progress" means Regional Rugby. So my side now is, as you know, the Ospreys!
