we've lost or drawn games because of iffy decisions.

No, you haven't. Liverpool pretty much never suffer from dodgy decisions, they do however benefit from laughable penalties late on constantly v the so called smaller sides. Many of the pool fans think that this blatant bias is justified as Raheem Sterling was wrongly adjudged as being offside v Man City almost 3 years ago now. The fact that Liverpool have had the most penalties in the PL era despite never having won it and playing dour defensive football for most of it is really quite telling.

It's about time someone made this extremely valid point.

Are you talking about the fact that Liverpool have had the most penalties in the PL era despite being also rans for the majority of it ? It really tells its own tale.

The fact that 'Pool have had the most penalties in the PL era despite being extremely mediocre for the vast majority of it - yes, that is the point I was applauding.

I've been to many games(league, cup, whatever)where we were **** on re ref/linesmen decisions down the years but so what, the next time your club get an iffy decision against them start a petition to get it overturned, if not burn a Liverpool shirt and stamp all three of your feet.

:)

I see you've decided to go for the vague response as I've preempted the usual "It's swings and roundabouts laa, Sterling was wrongly called offside a while back v City. Sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn't"

Precisely, but because of your hate and or dislike of LFC you're letting it rule your head, we've had some terrible decisions go against us down the years that had a massive impact, but we/you move on.....looks like your hate or bitterness won't allow that so when I pray for HIAG I'll pidgeon hole one in just for you as well.:emoticon-0100-smile

As someone pointed out on the Spurs board, it seem likely based on their current progress that James Milner will win the Golden Boot this season with 25 penalties.
