He's played 5 first team games for us and you're already writing him off.

Bet you walked out on 85 mins yesterday as well :emoticon-0148-yes:
Stayed until the end Giach. Was only having a laugh with Bri. HOWEVER , a lad who so impressed me with his ability to collect a cross looks like he has been told to stay in his six yard box. Just my opinion.

Turns out it is injury. :( It's coming though. I tells ya.

Jordan Pickford has been withdrawn from the England U21 squad due to injury.

The goalkeeper will remain on Wearside for treatment but may link up with the Three Lions squad later this week.

Brighton keeper Christian Walton has been called into the squad ahead of Thursday night's game in Kazakhstan.

England then face Bosnia in Walsall on Tuesday 11th October.

He's still got a lot of learning to do no doubt about it.

Some of his kicking is ridiculously good. He sees players as if he's an outfield number 10. Then again some of his kicking at times has been a little bit erratic. He'll learn when to pick and choose when to go long and when not.

Talking to a lad in the Washington Sunderland shop who went to school with Pickford - apparently he often played as an outfield player when younger.
But alarming the Sun quotes that we are willing to sell him - thats why we are looking for other keepers - I certainly hope not
It is in the scurrilous sun but people do read it and players become unsettled .....

You can tell if that's the case (that he played outfield). When he picks out the full backs with some of his passes its pinpoint.

Saw some links while back for Utd and Spurs being interested and I'm sure there will be more than just those keeping an eye on him.

Never seen anything saying we'd be willing to sell him however so would be interest to see that article.

Sunderland are reportedly open to the idea of selling Jordan Pickford next summer, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Pickford’s performances for the Black Cats this season are catching the eye of rivals.

According to the report, Sunderland manager David Moyes is still looking for a senior goalkeeper and could sell the 22-year-old if a major offer comes in.

Pickford has been on the books of the Premier League club his entire professional club football career so far and has a contract until June 2020, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The youngster has made five Premier League appearances for the Black Cats so far this season.

During the 2015-16 campaign, the 22-year-old played twice in the league for Sunderland.

The Black Cats are struggling at the moment and find themselves second from bottom in the Premier League table. Moyes’s side have picked up just two points from seven league matches.

Every player has their price and all that. It does say if a 'major offer' came in.

Just the Sun at it again. You could print that story with almost any player.

If Man Utd offered £25m for him next Summer we'd sell him, simple as that.

I know every player has his price but considering the deal we did for Kaboul it wouldn't be a massive surprise if we sold Pickford for something like ten million. Twenty five, ok I would like more but it's a good amount.

We were short changed with Kaboul no doubt but it was a different situation. He wanted away for family reasons or whatever.

Pickford is an asset, anything without a 2 in front of it should be laughed at.
