AOB so unlucky there. In a longish interview with Matt Chapman he almost got through without a single "Listen". He was doing so well and then near to the end one slipped out. You could almost feel him thinking "****". I think he either had a bet on it or he has been having stop saying listen lessons. I thought I was going to post congratulations but unfortunately he didn't quite make it. An excellent effort nevertheless <applause><applause>

Is she confirmed the winner? Also if she is what's the PM odds?
Just had a very interesting PMU experience. So Mi Dar, Harzand and Limato have my euros.
Should I have backed Macca's Angel?

Echoes of British imperialism from one of the horses in the 1.40 Tipperary - Lucknow was the scene of the famous residency siege in 1857 during the Indian rebellion

Wuheida paid €10.80 for the win and €2.90 for the place on the PMU, which includes the €1 stake. Her British industry price was 10/1.

Very unlucky Pleascach there they were head and head not giving an inch but Speedy Boarding had her noggin down at the right time. So Mi Dar didn't get the breaks in what looked a sluggish enough race pace.

Alas, no. If I were I would be struggling to get on their Wi-Fi to post with most of the packed stands trying to upload Selfies to their Twitter accounts!

When I went there for the Prix de Diane, I saw how small it was and how crowded it was going to be on Arc day, so I never even looked into it.

Arc looks a real funny race with a lot of fancied runners drawn out slightly wider. I think of all of those it will suit the Japanese horse Makahiki and think he has a right chance and will be trained to have peaked today.

Having said that, I think there might be a prime opportunity for a big price(s) to make the frame and I quite like the look of Talismanic 40/1 at a big price for the Fabre/Godolphin combination. Drawn nicely, races with the speed and was only beaten a couple of lengths by the Irish Champion winner. Also looked a better horse over 12f as opposed to 10f, so could see him running nicely into a place and who knows if there's a bit of traffic in the midfield...

Those two for me but I can't say it is a race that I have a strong opinion on.
