And had he done so, we'd have had circa £8m in the bank to buy a Bassong upgrade...Seriously though, Pritchard must be wishing he went to Brighton...

Haha! You can't say he's a waste of money until we actually see him play! And had he done so, we'd have had circa £8m in the bank to buy a Bassong upgrade...![]()
Pritchard should have played CB, in place of Bassong.I guess the trouble is that Wes is playing as well as I've seen him play and IMO, AN was right to leave him on the bench on Wednesaday.
Not sure you could play both in the team together.
What points, goals scored...or home attendancesMeanwhile, Ipswich still have single figures!

No worries mate! Thanks for that FML. Us expats are unable to watch anything Sky produce at any time.
I think Pritchard has played in a wider role, but like Wes I don't think he's as effective there. To do that though, you'd have to drop Brady or Jacob, which would be harsh on current form!I guess the trouble is that Wes is playing as well as I've seen him play and IMO, AN was right to leave him on the bench on Wednesaday.

Have you already forgotten who was "leading the line" on that fateful day in Jerome's absence?I'd probably agree with most of those, but my real concern going forward is why nearly every player had such an off day at Brum and hope it's a 'one off'.

Well, at least he won't have to wait for Naismith to have an 'off day' or start losing form (what form??I think Pritchard is just going to have to wait for Wes to miss a game, and try to take that chance.
EDP player ratings from yesterday -
• Michael McGovern
Massive moment when he denied Nouha Dicko with City coming under pressure from a resurgent home side. 7.0
• Ivo Pinto
Attacking outlet again but another demonstration he has adapted to the physical demands of the defensive side of the English game. 7.0
• Russell Martin
Used all his experience to recover from that harrowing shift at St James’ Park. Confident in possession and assured alongside Timm Klose. 7.0
• Timm Klose
Leader, talisman, defensive lynchpin. Badly missed at Newcastle and a vital aerial presence when Wolves launched late bombardments. 8.0
• Martin Olsson
Great engine in the second-half with any number of overlapping bursts. But Wolves’ equaliser came from a cross down his flank. 7.0
• Graham Dorrans
Norwich’s control in the first-half, especially, unsurprisingly stemmed from the Scot’s pervasive presence in possession. 7.0
• Alex Tettey
Much more aggressive in his pressing than on Tyneside. Cheap yellow card in the second-half but his combative traits are a vital counterpoint to the craftsmen. 7.0
• Jacob Murphy
Should have added to his growing goal tally in the first-half when his angled close range shot clipped Carl Ikeme’s trailing leg. 6.5
• Wes Hoolahan
Labelled ‘magic’ by Alex Neil afterwards. No argument as he weaved his spell with an assist for the first goal, involvement in the second and a superb appetite to win the ball back. 7.5
• Robbie Brady
Winning goal was pure quality. Instinctive 25-yard strike swept into the top corner. That was Brady at his very best and Norwich will hope for more now. 7.5
• Cameron Jerome
Fifth goal of the season set the tone. Bullied Wolves’ young centre-backs and completed another impressive shift with the assist for Brady’s winner. 8.0

At least it does seem as if AN has learned something from that debacle as Everton in the cup apart, he hasn't featured since![]()
