With one of our 606 Mods seemingly lost in deepest Herefordshire, and the other one allegedly held hostage by Reams, it falls to me to start tomorrow's match thread.

All mentions of Elf's olive green coat are banned from this thread <cheers>

With Jordan Botaka on a high after his appearance on Come Dine With Me this week - dare I suggest he could cook up a goal for us if he starts tomorrow ?

This is a must win game for Slade. Bribery- for- a fiver will see 5000 plastics give up the comfort of their Aga to descend on the Valley , and like us stalwarts they want to see 4-4-2 and some attacking football.

Must, must win.

Thoughts and predictions ?
 
I'm missing this one as I'm goin with my daughter to Reading university university open day.

Reading are fresh off of 2 wins on the spin including a thrilling 3 2 victory at the Den.
I'm going for a 3 1 Charlton win and Slade to wet himself afterwards at how amazing we were.
 
Also missing this one- made other plans before the fixture list announced
Plus- not sure I could do 3 games in a week
Prediction: 1-1, same story...
 
I simply don't see a change in our strategy in the offing, so sadly I'll go for a repeat ofthe Wimbledon game, with us losing 1-2 having scored first. Basically I thought Brussel would have put two and two together against Oldham. He has now convinced me that rather than an upward curve, he is seeking a plateau of dullness, and behold. We are already there.
 
Haven't been to a match at the valley in over a year, but will be going to this with a Rochdale supporting friend, and will be sat in the away end.
If we get tanked it will be the most depressing thing since the bus journey home from operation ewood...
