After the English FA's condemnation of both FIFA and UEFA earlier in the year, I suppose it is inevitable that they would act hard and fast.

tbf the FA have been pretty good on these sorts of things in the last few years, especially in comparison to FIFA and UEFA. Their only downside IMO is in encouraging more BME (Black, Minority, Ethnic) coaches in the game.

EDIT - that should read their 'main' downside. It's definitely not their only downside!!!!

Why is that a downside?

There is a statement on the FA website about acting with utmost professionalism both on and off the field.

(Not because of today, it's been there a while)

Didn't Fat Sam sue the BBC a few years ago, over a panarama program on dodgy agent fees?
I bet the BBC will be "dusting off the case file", to see if they can reopen that can of worms.
It was 2006 and they basically killed his son's career off, IIRC.
He was bitter about that for quite some time, so it'll probably be repeated now.

Sheep face Southgate <laugh>

Here's hoping that the Torygraph have an exclusive on him tomorrow ffs
