" the forgotten ", seen it before but guess I must
Have forgotten I'd seen it, but to be honest it's
Easily forgotten as they say... Not very rememberable !!!

Just been watching some clips of the new " magnificent 7 "
And to be honest I'm getting very excited, like a ****ing
Kid again... I'm taking my grandson with me, well to be
Perfectly honest I'm dragging him there, no ****ing way
I'm going on me bill. He said grandad is there any sci fi
In it... Bloody kids these days, all about the sci fi....
It's by the same lot that did training day..should be good..

While I'm a great fan of Denzil (both Only Fools and Horses and Washington) I am dredding what they serve up in The Mangnificent 7. The original is one those that should be left alone. No need to remake. Much like Ben Hur ffs!

Although not an actual remake the original magnificent 7 is actually an adaptation of seven samurai which for me was far better than the western.. But I do agree with leaving certain films alone, I just hope denzel can get somewhere near as ****ing cool as yul. Anyway I'm still looking forward to it....

Reactions: Treble
Watched Tinker, Sailor, Soldier, Spy again last night, the BBC one with Alec Guinness. Brilliant, despite being 35 years old.

Going with another bit o yul,
day 270, film 270," the king and I"..
Brynner and Kerr are brilliant in this...

Very good.

Westworld? Let's hope Ed Harris can do that role justice in the upcoming series.

There's another top Yul film which you'll probably know. I can't remember the name but it's him and Kirk Douglas pitted against each other on some mountainous island iirc. Saw it in my 20's on TV and never heard of it since. Great film though.

That'll be Light At The Edge Of The World, it was on one of those crappy freeview film channels not so long ago.

And I hope mr Harris does a good job also.

Following on the yul brynner films theme, today I'm watching another

A load of oldies...darts tonight so watching it shortly..
Day 271, film 271,"Anastasia"... Cracking movie !!!!

Watched 'Train to Busan' yesterday, a South Korean zombie film. Absolutely fantastic. Like World War Z, only better and all squeezed onto a train. One of the best films I've seen this year, 10/10*.

*probably should be an 8 or 9 but, zombies.
