If PVA could head the ball we could have got all 3 points I agree with Moyes - the players need to take a hell of a lot more responsibility than they currently do. For the Jan window we need a centre half and a left back - proven prem experience rather than speculative punts
Moyes will walk like Advacart if these players do not improve, then we are right back to square one. Surely we are not as bad as Burnley, Boro and Hull. WHU and Stoke will turn it round you can guarantee that, but can we ? the point a game situation is bad as well we need to win the next three to get 10 points from 9 matches (WBA, WHU and Stoke) then Arsenal come here !.
Good idea. Or get some sexy bint to do his press conferences for him. Top buttons undone. Wonderbra pushing the clevage up. Hot chick glasses and short skirt, high heels and suspenders showing. Hhmmm. I think i am thinking about this scenario a tad to much.
Dunno about that mind. What a Cheerful Charlie he is though. Must be like a dark cloud walking into the room.
He looks more like an ass hat plant manager than a football manager. Quite convinced that he can take us down to the championship, not so convinced that he will bring us back quickly. I don't think he is going anywhere, however, Sunderland's journey towards mid-table premier league stability and Moyes' path to redemption are inexorably linked.
A final paragraph from an article in the Guardian. "Before leaving to coach England in mid-July Allardyce had become deeply concerned by the lack of a single signing and Moyes was left playing catch-up. “We’re probably paying the price for not recruiting earlier,” the Scot said. “But what would you say about the year before that or the year before that? Would you say we’re paying the price for recruitment then or are there other reasons?” Jan Kirchhoff shared his manager’s dismay. “A shocking result,” the former Bayern Munich midfielder said. “We led 2-0 but we didn’t all have the same idea about what to do next and we threw it away. “As players we have to take 100% responsibility. We get well prepared before the games. It’s up to us to communicate on the pitch. We need leadership down there, people who are willing to take the lead. We have to get our shape back and have one clear idea of what we’re doing.” Kirchhoff the spokesman for the rest of the team is interesting, or maybe it was just his turn, but he was big enough to admit faults rather than prep. Sam's purchase list would have been interesting but players and their agents have all the cards in these situations and, depending on their reasons, will take the one that suits them best, either financially or attractiveness. Shows what are up against.
