To be fair Matth I had been somewhat underwhelmed by Pogba based on his performances at the Euros and, admittedly few, games I saw for Juve plus highlights so far this season ... but he was very good indeed on Saturday against us ... possibly the best individual performanxce against us this season, just edging out Adam Lallana, who was also excellent ...

What impressed most was his abilty to pick a pass over our defence and into the area for the runs of Mata and more so Ibrahimovic ... the Pogba / Ibra combination looks capable of unlocking any defence.

Pogba and Mata as a pairing certainly worked on Saturday ... your problem reamains the defence - we should probably have scored another if not two in the second half ... and probably should have been a goal to the good at the 20 min mark ... but that 20 minute spell before half-time, albeit against some woeful defending, was very good indeed ... and Pogba was orchestrating everything ... still a lot of money to have paid... but if he continues to control games like that (big if) then it will have been money well spent, particularly given his age ...

Take those Liverpool tinted glasses off and analyse the situation, Pogba was one of Juventus best player for the last couple of years, he'd walk into every premier league team.

89m quid. A world record fee, for someone who probably isnt even in the worlds top 20.

Now if this thread was about Zlatan, my view would be completly different. Now he is a world class player.

Until he's done the same for man u in the prem you're bragging about something done in a different league at a different standard.
Thats a big statement to make, not sure he'd walk into "every premier league team" at the moment.

He would, I include Liverpool in that as well.
 
Funny that matth, not only are our midfielders contributing more goals than Pogba their contributions to the team have us above Pogba and man u.
Wouldn't(at this time)need to add him for the betterment of the team as a whole.
